My grandfather died last Sunday. Here’s an impression of him.
I wanted to do this one in Flemish. For an English translation:

Vake, noun

• The smell of cigars and swimmingpool water.
• Crosswordpuzzles and cardgames.
• The silent figure in the chair on the terrace, looking over the garden. With an electric flyswatter.
